hello and happy august! progress on tronbot zero is going surprisingly well, but also quite slowly due to how long i plan for it to be! because of this, sadly, i have to say that i doubt i'll be able to get it out by madness day. if i do make it, that'll be very surprising, but i don't think it'll happen. in the case that it doesn't, it'll come out when it's ready.
for those that aren't aware yet, tronbot zero is basically just the "lore translated into animation" part. don't worry, there *is* fight scenes so it's not just a bunch of boring dialogue for multiple minutes (still a lot of dialogue, though.). might be some shoddiness here and there though as i am still learning animation, but i'd say it's already a massive improvement over my earlier works!
see you when the animation's ready, or when i decide i'm bored and want to make another news post!

because of the REALLY SHITTY direction that twitter is heading in, in terms of moderation, and general community (there's a LOT more bad takes nowadays that's visible since blue check prioritization got added. wow.); i have deactivated my twitter account. expect more posts from me here on newgrounds. if i make an account on a different social media, i'll let you guys know.

hello again! i have finally remade my character's sprites.
q: "the shading's entirely solid for some reason! what opacity is it supposed to be?"
a: 25%.
q: "the fla won't open, i'm on flash 8!"
a: sorry, but this spritesheet was made on adobe animate 2021 using actionscript 3.0. it should support any other version of animate/flash that has support for actionscript 3.0, though.
you're free to make whatever edits, just credit me upon use.

progress is still going well. i found a new video exporting method that's higher quality than what i used to use.
see latest wip with new method here!
the animation should release on time, with madness day 2023 being the hard deadline.
currently working on scene #8, almost finished with that scene.

the spritesheet has many angles, as well as their signature weapon. this is just a preview image.
because leaking is inevitable, and that the tronbot vrchat avatar is also easily accessable if you have any sort of avatar search (or if you just ask me), i've decided to make these sprites public. i'm deciding to make these public so that people in the future don't feel special if they get access to a "leaked" version of the sheet.
also, i just wanna see what people will do with this if they decide to download it.
credit upon use, you're free to make whatever edits you want, blabla.

this is unfinished, but i likely won't be finishing it for a WHILE, so i decided to publicly release the wip version.
you are free to add things to this, that be doing small changes, or making entire sheets with this grunt as the base.
